Pachet Assessment & Rehabilitation Services - Psychological Assistant

Pachet Assessment & Rehabilitation Services (PARS) is seeking a psychological assistant, minimum of three days per week, to administer neuropsychological and related tests to individuals who are referred for comprehensive evaluations following a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other neurological diagnosis. Under the direction of a Board Certified Neuropsychologist, you would administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests with patient populations of all age groups and with varying types of injuries and neurological disorders.

Job Functions

  • Administers, scores, and summarizes a full range of diagnostic neuropsychological; intellectual and psychological assessment instruments.

  • Completes behavioural observations and compiles the test results and background information in a clear format as designated by the neuropsychologist.

  • Maintains adequate supply of testing materials available for usage by the staff.  

  • May involve occasional travel to other major centres in Alberta for out of town assessments.  Travel time and travel expenses incurred are reimbursed by PARS.


  •  Education: Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field.

  • Amount of Experience: 1-3 years of experience is an asset but not required.  Training and supervision will be provided. Candidates must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
